Your New Role
As a Civil Project Manager specializing in municipal land development and infrastructure, you’ll join the Kelowna team and take on a leadership role in delivering a diverse range of civil projects. You will plan, coordinate, and execute work while guiding a team of designers and EITs to deliver high‑quality design solutions.
In this role, you will :
- Manage infrastructure upgrades, subdivision developments, and the design / construction of water, sewer, drainage, and transportation systems
- Provide technical direction to EITs and designers on preliminary and detailed design packages
- Estimate project costs, complete analyses and calculations, and prepare reports, proposals, and contract documents
- Build and maintain business relationships with current and prospective clients
- Collaborate with clients, colleagues, contractors, and stakeholders to clarify project expectations
- Monitor schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure high‑quality outcomes
- Develop project work plans, including schedules, milestones, risks, and control strategies
- Proactively address performance, scope, and scheduling challenges
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Bachelor’s degree in Civil EngineeringRegistered (or eligible for registration) as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in British Columbia8+ years’ experience in municipal engineering and project managementStrong background in infrastructure projects including roads, water systems, drainage, and land developmentProven experience preparing civil designs, tender documents, cost estimates, studies, reports, and proposalsAbility to build lasting relationships with clients and project stakeholdersDemonstrated experience leading teams and managing internal and external project resourcesStrong project management, technical, analytical, and organizational skillsExcellent verbal and written communication, including reporting and proposal writingAbility to work independently and collaboratively, while supporting and mentoring junior staffHigh attention to detail and strong follow‑throughWhat You’ll Get in Return
