Our client, a collegial and warm firm of notaries, is looking for a meticulous and talented Junior Notary with a good entrepreneurial sense.

On a day-to-day basis, the candidate will represent a diversified clientele, including individuals and businesses, in cases involving both residential and commercial real estate law.

YOUR ROLE:
Analyze, draft and revise various legal documents related to real estate transactions (deeds of sale, mortgages, title transfers, co-ownership, etc.);
Conduct in-depth title examinations for residential and commercial real estate;
Participate in transaction closings and work directly with clients;
Maintain organized documentation of transactions.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree in law;
Member in good standing of the Chambre des notaires du Québec;
Minimum of 2 years' experience in notarial practice and title searches;
Ability to work independently and manage several transactions simultaneously;
Excellent oral and written bilingualism (French and English);
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage priorities;
Thoroughness, attention to detail, autonomy and proactivity.
