Tomlinson is currently seeking a Shop Foreman for our Heavy Equipment Shop. This person would be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of staff, assisting with customer issues, assisting Parts and Administrative Clerks with ordering parts and the completion of work orders, and ensuring a safe and productive workplace at all times.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Be a safety leader with a solid safety behavior and have a strong background in leadership
- Ensure safety procedures and standards are met at all times
- Maintaining a safe and clean repair shop and yard
- Scheduling tasks to technicians
- Ability to train and mentor staff
- Supervising the day to day operations
- Setting up the floor space to maximize productivity
- Ensuring quality repairs are completed
- Liaise with Manager of Garages and other operations personnel on the status and scope of repairs needed
- Create work orders & review work orders before closing off
