Accountant

Founded in the spring of 2004, CarpeDiem is a production company working in the audiovisual entertainment sector, primarily targeting the family. CarpeDiem produces films and series in 2D, 3D and stereoscopic animation, as well as virtual reality projects.

To bring this magic to life, we need someone to work as an accountant , as part of our finance department. Ideally, we're looking for someone with experience in a creative environment like ours.

This search is part of our continued growth, while maintaining the desire to remain a human-sized, friendly company that cultivates a caring environment.

Responsibilities :

Under the supervision of the Vice President Finance, the person will be responsible for :

• Analyze and process the accounting cycle, including GST-QST, intercos, bank reconciliations, credit cards, payables and receivables.
• Participate in the preparation of year-end audit files
• Regularly analyze detailed cost reports with production managers
• Participate in cash management
• Payroll management and production of tax forms
