Facilities Attendant
Auxiliary / On-call
Duties : This is an auxiliary position to backfill the regular, full-time position (full-time description attached). Reporting to the Manager, Cranbrook Facilities, this position is responsible for ground maintenance at the Main Campus and at our Gold Creek Campus. The position would provide general maintenance of the grounds and have a general understanding of college operations as well as acting as a labourer for renovations, capital projects and assisting in the testing and monitoring of the fire alarm, security alarm, HVAC systems and water filtering / testing.
Qualifications : Grade 12 or equivalent, coupled with a minimum of 2 years related building maintenance experience, Class 5 Driver's License, First Aid Level 1. Will also consider applicants with a minimum of 2 years' experience in building maintenance OR minimum of 2 years Groundskeeping and Landscaping experience OR an equivalent combination plus a demonstrated work experience in a variety of relating building trades performing minor plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting and grounds maintenance.

Salary : Position#133
CUPE Pay Level 4 with a starting wage of $27.78 per hour with increments progressing to Step 5 as per CUPE Collective Agreement (this includes 8% in lieu of benefits and vacation.)
