Ecolab is seeking a dedicated Class I Chemical Delivery Driver with a proven track record of exemplary safe driving and who is comfortable performing manual labour as part of their duties to join our this contract role you will be responsible for safely delivering chemical products to various industries. This position will be eligible for a one-time $5000 Retention Bonus to be paid after the successful completion of the full contract term.

What You Will Do :
Safely operate vehicles including delivery trucks tank trunks over-the-road trucksMaintain truck and equipment in a safe and operable condition at all timesLoad trailers and plan schedule based on customer orders to meet customer delivery requirementsWork closely with sales team to ensure customer satisfactionPerform daily and periodic mechanical and safety inspectionsEnsure accurate up-to-date delivery location maps and operate in accordance with regulations governing the transportation of hazardous materialsMaintain drivers hours of service by using SamSara ELD reportingMaintain regular communication with sales and supervisor in order to report field problems and / or safety hazardsWear appropriate safety gear at all times during delivery operationsKeep current on safety techniques and take advantage of all opportunities to improve driving and safety skillsRecognize and avoid safety hazards in the work environmentPosition Details :
Based out of Leduc AB.Travel will include the provinces of Alberta and SaskatchewanScheduled deliveries will be Monday to Friday with some overtime as neededSchedule will vary based on customer orders up to 3-4 nights of overnight travel may be required per week.This is a 12-month contract roleMinimum Qualifications :
High School diploma or equivalentPossess a current Class 1 Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with all the relevant endorsements (Q)3 years commercial driving experience with ability to drive manual transmission (10 & 13 speed)Acceptable motor vehicle recordMust be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbsMust be able to travel to the US for training / meetingsNo immigration sponsorship offered for this rolePreferred Qualifications :

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range :
$35.26 / hour. This position pays an hourly rate and is eligible for overtime.
Ecolab in good faith anticipates it will pay within the posted range. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining the compensation for a potential new employee such as education training experience work location travel (if required) etc.
