Print Production Associate

Our client in the insurance industry is seeking a detail-oriented and team-focused individual to support operations at their print production facility in Winnipeg. This role involves handling insertion operations for client documents, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely delivery to Canada Post. The individual will operate large inserter equipment and perform hand-insertion tasks as required.

  • Weekday schedule from 7 : 00 am to 3 : 00 pm.

Responsibilities :

  • Perform insertion operations using large inserter equipment and manual hand-insertion.
  • Program and set up jobs on insertion equipment and perform maintenance to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Conduct quality control to ensure all customer deliverables meet strict standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of job processing and inventory levels.
  • Clean and maintain equipment to maximize uptime and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet customer requirements effectively.
  • What you will need to succeed :

  • Post-secondary technology training or equivalent experience.
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in a customer service environment.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a print shop environment.
  • Ability to operate large centralized digital equipment.
  • Experience with finishing and binding equipment in a production setting.
  • Proficiency in detecting and resolving production inconsistencies and quality issues.
  • Familiarity with equipment such as W&D Insertion Equipment, NeoPost / Quadient Mail Machines, or Pitney Bowes Mail Machines (an asset).
  • Ability to operate PC applications in a networked environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Willingness to learn, take direction, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
