Position Summary
The Director, Senior Supply Chain Management oversees the end‑to‑end supply chain operations for the company’s products, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and supplier relations. This role ensures that all products are sourced, manufactured, and delivered efficiently, cost‑effectively, and in compliance with regulatory, import / export and healthcare industry standards. The position plays a strategic role in reducing supplier dependency, optimizing supply chain performance, supporting project installations, and ensuring customer satisfaction. It supports the growth of profitable sales and business value, sourcing economical products and suppliers that align with our business mission & values.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead supply chain planning; including forecasting, purchasing, and inventory control to ensure timely availability of materials and products.
- Source, identify and vet suppliers / manufacturers that fit business strategy. Maintain a supplier matrix, including prioritizing at least 2 sources for any product.
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to achieve best value, quality, and delivery performance.
- Use legal support as needed to create fair supplier agreements, reducing company risk and protecting our IP.
- Oversee logistics, warehouse and transportation functions to ensure efficient distribution of products and installation materials and alignment with supply chain strategy.
- Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to align supply timelines with client delivery schedules and seasonal peaks.
- Develop and implement supply chain policies, procedures, and KPIs aligned with company goals.
- Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives across all supply chain processes. Document customer feedback and product defects.
- Manage and mentor supply chain staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety legislation, building code and regulatory requirements in Ontario and across Canada.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks; including supplier dependency, disruptions, quality issues, and supplier performance concerns. Map out the supply chain and document Certificate of Origin and other relevant documents required for import / export. Follow sources of entire chain back to the raw material to identify vulnerabilities.
- Participation and guidance on fire and impact testing.
- Participation in weekly supplier meetings.
- Collaboration with Product team on new products.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics, preferably within healthcare or construction industries.Proven experience managing supplier contracts, inventory systems, and logistics networks.Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, or equivalent).Demonstrated leadership and people management experience.Professional certification (e.g., CSCMP, APICS, PMP) considered an asset.Skills and Competencies

Primarily office‑based with regular visits to supplier sites, warehouses, and client installation locations.May require occasional travel within Ontario across Canada, and globally.Standard business hours with flexibility required during peak project periods.Exposure to warehouse and installation environments, following all applicable health and safety policies.Supervisory Responsibilities
