Allied Universal is seeking Security Guard in Winnipeg Manitoba

Job Title: Security Guard

Job Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba

Job Type:Full Time

Shifts: Various Shifts Available. Full Time Open Availability preffered

0700-1600 and 0600-1800

Pay Rate: $19.00 - $19.80

Overview:
We are looking for diligent and reliable Security Guard to join our team for a site in Winnipeg, Manitoba . The ideal candidate is someone with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring a safe environment.

Requirement:

• Valid Manitoba security guard license.
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada.
• First Aid and CPR
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, occasionally climb stairs, and lift or carry up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct foot patrols of buildings and surrounding areas.
• Monitor and report suspicious activities and persons.
• Prevent and detect thefts or vandalism.
• Write detailed incident reports and maintain daily logs.
• Enforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Resolve conflicts calmly and effectively.
• Use radios and cell phones to communicate with team members.
• Follow emergency procedures and respond to alarms.
• Ensure safety and security protocols are upheld.
