About the Position:

RWDI’s Guelph office is seeking an individual to join its Facilities team as a Facilities Coordinator.

The role includes but is not limited to:

  • Manage facilities requests through the ticketing system and ensure timely resolution
  • Coordinate building maintenance and repairs, including custodial services, deliveries, security systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, vehicles, and equipment
  • Oversee acquisition and distribution of office and breakroom supplies.
  • Perform basic maintenance and repairs (e.g., light bulb changes, snow/ice clearing, cable tray installations, drain unclogging)
  • Assist with office moves, workspace set-ups, and personnel relocations.
  • Maintain facility databases, including vendor contacts, lease details, and related records
  • Conduct facility safety and security inspections (e.g., fire systems, HVAC, seasonal maintenance) and follow up on findings
  • Partner with IT to coordinate workstation moves, data cabling, and AV equipment setup
  • Manage shipping, receiving, and delivery logistics
  • Welcome visitors and provide staff notifications as needed
  • Operate forklift for facility and warehouse needs

We are accepting applications from candidates with the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED, with some related work experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Previous facility maintenance, shipping/receiving, and/or warehouse experience in a dynamic work environment
  • Experience in administrative tasks and working with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Hands-on/mechanical aptitude and general “handy” skills
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Assets: Training in forklift operation, working at heights, ladder safety, fall arrest, and/or lift truck operation
