This position will be located at the Calgary, Alberta Manufacturing Plant and it is part of the Windows Group – Ply Gem. This position reports to the QA Manager Ply Gem.
Purpose / goals :
The key purposes of a QA Supervisor include :Quality Monitoring : Supervise and assess quality checks to ensure compliance with standards and procedures.Team Leadership : Co-ordinate and guide QA technicians, providing training, feedback, and performance evaluations.Process Improvement : Identify inefficiencies in quality processes and suggest or implement improvements.Compliance Assurance : Ensure products or services meet industry regulations, customer expectations, and company policies.Problem Resolution : Investigate quality issues, determine root causes, and work on corrective and preventive measures.Reporting and Documentation : Maintain detailed records of inspections, quality metrics, and improvement initiatives, providing reports to management.Collaboration : Work with other departments (, production, Design, Engineering and Service) to align quality objectives with organizational goals.Shift : Day Shift (8Am to , Flexible to work in Rotating shift, PM shift based on the operational requirement – on site

To perform satisfactorily in this position, the employee must have Diploma or Bachelor of Engineering and should have at least 3 to 6 years of experience in Manufacturing and Quality.
