We are looking for a reliable, caring, intuitive, experienced Night Nurse who specializes in newborn care to support our family with the arrival of our second child in mid-late January.
We are located in the west end of Toronto and would like to hire for at least six months with the possibility to extend.
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and This role involves providing overnight care for a newborn, ensuring the baby’s needs are met while offering support and guidance to parents during the early stages of parenthood.Responsibilities :
- Provide comprehensive overnight care for the newborn, including feeding, changing, soothing, and monitoring.
- Assist with establishing a sleep routine and maintaining a calm sleep environment.
- Offer advice and guidance on feeding schedules, sleep patterns, and infant care best practices.
- Maintain a safe and hygienic environment for the baby at all times.
- Track and document feeding, sleep, and diaper changes to provide detailed updates for parents.
- Be responsive to any medical needs or concerns that arise during the night.Qualifications :
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Night Nurse or Newborn Care Specialist.
- Certification in newborn care, nursing, or infant CPR preferred.
- Strong knowledge of newborn development, care techniques, and best practices.
- Exceptional communication skills and a supportive, empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
- Available to work flexible overnight hours, with the potential for weekend or extended shifts if needed.Benefits :
