    • English Teaching Position :

    K-12 / ESL Instructor :

  • Familiar with English teaching of the BC curriculum, and the BC ELL program.
  • Proficient in English reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

    • SSAT / SAT / AP English Instructor :

  • Excellent communication skills appropriate / relevant to test type and students.
  • Understand and become familiar with the topics by analyzing past papers on the SSAT / SAT / AP English.
  • Tutor-tailored SSAT / SAT / AP English courses based on the student level and needs.
  • Develop SSAT / SAT / AP English Prep Materials if needed.

    • English Literature and Creative Writing Instructor :

  • Understanding English literature in elementary and secondary school is preferred.
  • Instruct students on interpreting literature and assign books to read.
  • Teach students about the structure and content of the English language, including proper grammar, spelling, and sentence structure.
  • Provide constructive feedback and suggestions on student essays / assignments / writing.

    • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field (Education, English, etc.) with relevant education experience.
  • Proficient in English reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students of diverse backgrounds.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning experience.
  • Ability to adapt tutoring strategies to meet individual learning styles and needs.
  • Previous tutoring, teaching, or mentoring experience is a plus.
  • Ease of Commute : Ability to commute to our institution on a daily basis.
  • Experience : Ideally, 2-3 years of teaching experience.
  • Teaching Certification : Possession of a Teaching Certificate of Qualification in British Columbia is preferred.

    • Maths Teaching Position :

    K-12 Math Instructor :

  • Familiar with local mathematics teaching of local elementary and secondary schools, SAT. Mathematics, SSAT Mathematics (familiar with two or more is preferred).
  • Familiar with the BC curriculum Math and math competitions.
  • Familiar with the North American education system.

    • AP Math Instructor (AP Calculus) :

  • Proficiency in using the online platform for teaching.
  • Excellent communication skills appropriate / relevant to test type and students.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Understand and be familiar with the topics by analyzing the AP past paper.
  • Tutor-tailored AP courses based on the student level and needs.
  • Develop AP Prep Materials if needed.

    • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field (Math, Education, etc.) with relevant education experience.
  • Proficient in English reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students of diverse backgrounds.

    Job Details :

  • Full-time : 35 hours per week.
  • Part-time : Total teaching hours vary based on your availability.
  • Salary : $25.00-$35.00 per hour.

  • On-call basis.
