About the Department
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics is part of the Faculty of Mathematics and Science. It offers a BSc Honours program in Mathematics and Statistics (with co‑op), an MSc with Math and Statistics streams, a joint PhD with the Department of Computer Science, and a new Data Science and Analytics BSc. The department emphasizes computer applications through its MICA program, training for future math teachers (BSc / BEd), and an interfaculty Data Science initiative.

Salary and Benefits
Target salary range : $100,000 – $150,000. Final salary will be determined based on experience, internal equity, and budget considerations. Scarce resources include conference support, start‑up funding, subscriptions to major databases, and access to various research funding vehicles. Relocation assistance will follow the Faculty Association Collective Agreement.
