Associate Research Director / Research Director role at Reach3 Insights (Rival Group, comprising Rival Technologies and Reach3 Insights). Responsibilities
- Be deeply engaged in all facets of daily business operation, including client relationship management, commitment fulfillment, and staff development for clients, sectors, and geographies.
- Assist with developing and leading a team of diverse market researchers.
- Coordinate with other senior leaders to design and fulfill high-quality work with emphasis on excellence and innovation, including:
- solution architecture and offer development
- operations process and fulfillment / contractor resources
- proposal and methodological templates, designs, analysis, and deliverables
- Drive an entrepreneurial mindset, while staying organized in planning and implementing strategic and tactical aspects of the business.
- Influence product solution roadmap, market positioning, and future strategic planning.
- Develop and manage large strategic client relationships and prospect new clients.
- Be an enduring, positive, collaborative leader who coaches and mentors junior colleagues and upholds the company’s reputation.
Qualifications and what we’re looking for
- A strategic market researcher with exposure to both quantitative and qualitative methodologies, including questionnaire design, project management, and data analysis/visualization.
- Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects with shifting priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proactive in seeking help when needed
- Experience mentoring junior colleagues
- Technology savvy with online market research methodologies and platforms
- Ability to extract insights from data and tell the story through qualitative findings
- Creative data visualization and reporting skills that impress colleagues and clients
- A passion for unlocking consumer insights to support agile decision making
- Education: University or College degree
- 6–10 years of relevant work experience, preferably with supplier-side organizations
- Experience with sophisticated market research practices across quantitative and qualitative methods
- Desirable backgrounds: Supplier-side Consumer Health or Pharma research; QSR/Restaurant/Retail; Experiential/Sponsorship research
- Experience managing end-to-end market research projects, including designing questionnaires and discussion guides, identifying and reporting findings, visualizing data, and generating deliverables
- Familiarity with marketing research software and MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
- Strong client service orientation and presentation skills
Compensation and benefits
- Salary range: $100,000 to $130,000 (upper portion for tenured staff)
