Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial reporting, and supporting key business decisions via financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage intercompany analyses, rebills, including allocation and invoicing of insurance, management fees, IT costs, work orders, credit card charges, and predevelopment expenses
• Prepare and reconcile credit card statements, ensuring all transactions are properly coded and supported
• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and month-end close processes for legal entities
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany balances regularly
• Follow up on outstanding payments to suppliers, ensuring timely processing and issue resolution
• Oversee and coordinate the work order process, including tracking, coding, and ensuring timely payment of related invoices
• Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and relevant regulations (e.g., ASPE)
• Support the implementation and improvement of accounting systems and processes
• Perform other ad hoc accounting and administrative tasks as required

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards (ASPE)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
