This position is at Fredericton Kia, which is part of Shift Auto Group. Shift Auto Group consists of Fredericton Mitsubishi, Fredericton Kia, Volvo Cars New Brunswick, Miramichi Kia, 5 ReCar locations, St Croix Auto location, Velocity Auto Body and 11Wonder Auto locations in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.

Join our team as a Red Seal Automotive Technician with an MVI Mechanics license and unlock a world of career possibilities!

At our company, we prioritize your success and offer above-average rates with a competitive pay structure tailored for technicians. With the opportunity to earn between $70,000 to $109,000 annually, sky's the limit based on your skills and performance, working a standard 40-hour week. Our hourly base ranges from $28 to $35 depending on location, skills, and qualifications, ensuring a fair and transparent compensation plan with a 100% clocked hour guarantee. Job Duties & Responsibilities :

Provincial Motor Vehicle inspections

Used vehicle inspections

Mechanical fitness inspections

Automotive diagnostic and repair including but not limited to brakes, exhaust, suspension, wheels and tires, driveline, engine, electrical, HVAC, transmission, fuel and emissions, 4WD and AWD systems

Automotive maintenance including fluid maintenance, alignments, tires and brakes

Used vehicle mechanical reconditioning

Qualifications :

Provincial Motor Vehicle inspection station license preferred

Red Seal certified preferred

Valid drivers license required

EV and or PHEV training preferred

Air conditioning handling certification preferred
