Veterinary Technician, RVT

Location : Toronto, ON

Schedule : Full-time; New Grads Welcome!

VCA Canada Downtown Animal Hospital has grown their DVM team, and welcomes Registered Veterinary Technicians to join us, in flexible, full-time or part-time roles!

Requirements :

  • Graduate of a Veterinary Technician or Animal Health Technologist program
  • Eligible for registration with OAVT
  • New graduates are welcome! We help you prepare too for your VTNE!

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct physical exams, patient assessments, and venipuncture
  • Manage catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, and radiology
  • Assist in surgical preparation, procedures, and patient recovery
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Provide compassionate care to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and pet parents.
