Paymentus' success and rapid growth provides employees with opportunities for career advancement.Who You AreAs a Site Reliability Engineer you will be responsible for the design, development, deployment, and further, the management and support of public cloud infrastructure.

The candidate should have experience with designing highly available and fault tolerant cloud native enterprise solutions.

As well as some background in development, the candidate should also have familiarity with Kubernetes. The role requires someone with experience interfacing with development teams throughout the full development lifecycle to produce reliable and secure production infrastructure and operate in multiple environments in the SDLC.

Responsibilities Writing Infrastructure as Code for all cloud infrastructure Deployment and ongoing management of Kubernetes clusters Designing of tooling for automation of operational workload Building and setting up new operational tools Interfacing with and supporting development teams to migrate on premises solutions to public cloud Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis of production system Monitor applications to ensure system health quality assurance of infrastructure to ensure security, reliability, and scalability Build and maintain RESTful APIs to support integrationsEducation & Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field 2-3 years of SRE / DevOps / Cloud experience Scripting framework experience Deep understanding of Linux operating systems Some Kubernetes experience Development of tooling and automation (Terraform, SaltStack) Some AWS experience (Storage, Compute, Networking) Strong troubleshooting skills Ability to read existing infrastructure code and make changesPreferred Qualifications Some programming experience (Java, Node.
