MatrixHR is actively seeking motivated and skilled Apprentice and Journeyman / Woman Sheet Metal Workers for exciting commercial projects located in Calgary and Airdrie, AB starting ASAP. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company with long-term work on a 5-year contract.

Pay Rate

  • 2nd Year Apprentice - $24 / hr
  • 3rd Year Apprentice - $28 / hr
  • 3rd Year Apprentice - $32 / hr
  • Journeyman / Woman - $40 / hr

  • Project Type : Commercial Construction
  • Contract : Full-time, 5-year long-term contract
  • Hours : Full-time hours, Monday to Friday (possibility for some overtime)

  • Fall Arrest Certification

  • Lift Training Certificate
  • Own Harness & Tools (Required)
  • Experience :
  • Proof of Apprenticeship or Journeyman / Woman status in Sheet Metal Work

  • Previous experience in commercial projects preferred
  • Additional Skills : Strong attention to detail, ability to work well in a team, and a strong commitment to safety practices.
  • Responsibilities :

    Installing and fabricating sheet metal components for commercial projects.

  • Ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards.
  • Working with other skilled trades to complete projects efficiently.
  • Operating tools and equipment safely, including lifts and harness systems.
