Reporting to the VP of Marketing & Communications, 112th Grey Cup, the Marketing Manager role centers around leading all Grey Cup & Grey Cup Festival marketing initiatives.
What you will do :
- Social Media
- Manage all @GREYCUPFESTIVAL social media accounts
- Develop a social media content calendar including mapping out ideas for content and sourcing content from the necessary departments
- Support ideation of new content for social media and work with team to capture and edit content for @GREYCUPFESTIVAL channels
- Create content for the Northern Grey Cup Tour that is sent in by vendor for weekly recap and create graphics to promote where the Tour will be next
- Support the creation of video reels and graphics for social media to promote Grey Cup game ticket sales and Festival ticket sales
- Graphic Design
- Support the development of branded assets around the 112th Grey Cup and Festival marketing and advertising campaigns :
- Primarily resizing campaign assets from working templates
- May include building graphics or digital projects in Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva.
- Photography / Videography
- Source and manage a folder of approved shots for marketing and promotions.
- GCF.ca Website
- Develop the multi-media page for GCF.ca including downloadable assets for fans.
- Support the sourcing and development of legacy content uploaded to GCF.ca
- Support with the creation of new web pages for GCF.ca including sourcing information, creating graphics, and building pages on WebFlow (training and support from web developer to be provided)
- Promotions
- Support with contesting entries and fulfillment
- Support tracking of community promotions and collaborations including any items GCF is required to complete for sponsors
- Create information package for CFL teams to promote Grey Cup at their home games
Requirements
Proficient with Excel, possessing the ability to use spreadsheets to manage and track a lot of information in an organized manor.Strong writing skills—short and long form—with the ability to cater tone to the audience (i.e. Press, Customers, Followers / Fans).Highly detail oriented with the ability to proof assets for grammar and errors prior to being submitted.Ability to remain poised under tight deadlines, producing work under quick turnaround times.Ability to prioritize workload, juggling multiple tasks.Extremely resourceful, utilizing a variety of resources (peers, online search) to troubleshoot and problem-solve.Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written forms.Proficiency with Creative Suite for graphic design and video editing (Illustrator, Photoshop, and your preferred video editing platform).To apply, please submit your resume, a cover letter outlining your relevant experience, and examples of successful social media campaigns you have managed.
