Job description

Accountabilities

  • Provide administrative or clerical support to the Director of Operations to promote effective and efficient operations
  • Prepare bi-weekly payroll for approval
  • Code invoices for approval
  • Manage recruitment process for all Mtn Ops Departments
  • Work with Lift Ops Team Lead to create and maintain Lift Ops shift schedules
  • Assist Lift Ops Team Lead with edits to Lift Ops Manual
  • Support the departmental team leads as required
  • Write / update policies and SOP’s when necessary
  • Organize seasonal orientation for Mtn Ops departments
  • Ensure quality training of team members, including tracking of records and files
  • Manage the Mtn Ops Department Uniform Program
  • Attend Operations and Events Meetings
  • Attend weekly Manager’s Meeting in the Director’s absence
  • Assist with the annual budgeting process (preparation of Daily Wage Schedules)
  • Assist with creation of AFE’s
  • Provide other general support duties or work on special projects as required
  • Be an active member of the Joint Occupational Health & Safety Committee
  • Prepare operational reports as requested
  • Organize the Mtn Ops Department paper and digital documents and records
  • Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations and guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Excellent organization skills and an ability to meet timelines and changing priorities
  • Able to work both as a team member and independently; self-motivated and efficient
  • Able to prioritize and work well under pressure with little or no supervision
  • Have a positive, friendly personality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Mustbe familiar with Outlook, Excel, Word
