Carecoris looking for dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Workers to join our amazing team working in the Hamilton area hospitals.We’reready when you are!

Under the direction of facility nursing staff, you willperform floor and observational care duties - helping to create an environment that promotesoptimalphysical, social, and emotional well-being for patients. For each assignment, you will be in one facility for a full 12hour shift.

Pay Rate: $25/hour

Job Qualification

Our “exemplary standing” with Accreditation Canada is held to the highest regard and is a testament to the fact that we uphold the same hiring standards and patient care delivery as the facilities in which we serve.

• Personal Support Worker (PSW) certificate or enrolled in Nursing pathway program or Nursingstudent

• CPI Certification required (Crisis Prevention & Intervention Training Certificate)

• Clinical experience as a PSW within the past 2 years or at least1Hospital/LTCclinicalcompleted in nursingprogram

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationand N95 Mast Fit Test Certificate

• Proof of current immunization for measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella (MMRV), Hepatitis B, and Tdap/Td

• Proof of negative TB skin test within the past(1)yearor negative chest x-ray within the past 5 years

• Willing to undergo Vulnerable Sector Police Check as a condition ofhire

Please note that based on recent government mandates and directives, healthcare workersare now required toprovideproof of full COVID-19 Vaccination. If successful, new hires will berequiredtoprovideproof of vaccination prior to their start date.
