Senior Manager, Military Family Services

Role Overview
The Senior Manager will plan, oversee, manage, assess and implement the delivery of the Military Family Services Program (MFSP) and provide advice and guidance on programs and services, ensuring consistent application of MFS programs, policies and services.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the implementation, evaluation and reporting of key initiatives as directed by the Associate Director, Resilience and Engagement, Policy and Program Development.
- Oversee activities to support families through military challenges such as relocations, deployments and transitions, increasing access to critical services.
- Liaise and engage with other teams within MFS and CFMWS to mobilize a network of support that enhances operational readiness of military members and the well‑being of their families.
- Ensure team delivery on strategic initiatives and build key relationships with peers and staff.
Education, Certifications and Licenses
Master’s degree in Social Work, Business Administration, Community Development or a related field AND some years of experience in the non‑profit sector and / or family resources programs.OR Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Business Administration, Community Development or a related field AND several years of experience in the non‑profit and / or family resources programs.Experience
Development and implementation of community programs.Planning and facilitating presentations and workshops.Developing, interpreting, implementing and applying policies, procedures, and legislation / regulations.Budget administration.Project management.Personnel administration.Business planning.Experience in the not‑for‑profit sector is an asset.Competencies, Skills and Abilities

This is an on‑site position with an assigned work location. Interviews will be conducted in person. Successful candidates must complete a Reliability status security screening and a Vulnerable Sector Check.
