SAP SD Schedule to Deliver Functional Lead

Our Calgary based client is seeking an SAP SD Functional Lead with good Schedule to Deliver experience to join their organization on a permanent full-time basis. This role requires on-site work.

• Minimum 15 years practical experience in SAP SD functional solution design and delivery.
• A SD background, must understand and have experience with inbound (EWM, IM) and outbound (SD, MM) logistics.
• Minimum 3 years in a senior lead role either directly or indirectly leading a team of SAP professionals.
• Hands on functional experience working in the following SAP applications / modules : S / 4HANA, TM, IM, EWM, LE.
• Proven track record of successful SAP implementations as a Functional Lead / Lead Architect.
• History of designing complex SAP solutions to enable unique business processes.
• Experience in SAP development estimation and using best practices in SAP solution delivery.
• Strategic and flexible thinker who can implement timely and workable solutions in a developing and dynamic environment.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, including strong presentation skills with experience presenting and fielding questions from senior leaders.
• Own and drive SAP solutions to support Schedule to Deliver business function.
• Work either individually or alongside functional architects and analysts to design and implement SAP solutions that meet business requirements, follow SAP best practice, and enrich the user experience.
• Determine the optimal approach to develop and deliver required functionality from financial, architectural, operational perspectives.
• Ensure integrity of all solutions in the Schedule to Deliver space through appropriate testing and quality assurance practices.
• Responsible for working with, and providing direction to, 3rd party providers on SAP initiatives.
• Work with senior business leaders to facilitate the business strategy with technology by developing a deep understanding of strategy, process, and business needs.
• Host and drive interactive working sessions with business stakeholders to achieve solution alignment such as blue printing, business confirmation, or testing workshops.
• Assist with the prioritization of demand items in the S2D space.
• Directly involved in optimized SAP solution delivery, both planning and execution.
• Develop and mentor junior team members.
• Undergraduate degree or diploma from a recognized university or technical school in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering, or related equivalent.
• Techno-functional experience nice to have.
• Must be legally authorized to work in CANADA.
