General Summary.....

The main function of the OPS (assist operations) forklift operator will be to be able to move the pallets, help prepare for busy periods, help with functions relating to inventory control and deal with discrepancies.

This position will be responsible for...…..

Handle and pick products at receiving, dispatch or palletize products, according to operational needs;

Print, apply and scan labels;

Place in products in inventory and replenish the picking and reserve areas;

Enter data in the inventory management system as needed;

Safely operate the handling equipment (electric pallet truck, counterbalance forklift and retractable forks).

Excellent performance and safety record in current position (no disciplinary measures and no problem of absenteeism);

Ability to work in a team and versatility;

Ability to drive safely several types of forklift (including retractable forklifts);

Care for quality, precision and safety;

Ability to respect procedures and deadlines;

Basic computer skills;

1 to 2 years of warehouse experience.
