Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Plant Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Coordinator to lead and support continuous improvement initiatives within our client's operations in Edmonton, AB. This role is responsible for implementing TPM methodologies, driving equipment reliability, and fostering a culture of operational excellence. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance productivity, reduce downtime, and optimize maintenance strategies.

  • Pay Rate : up to $40.00 / hour (based on experience)
  • Location : Edmonton, AB
  • Shift : Monday to Friday, 8h per day
  • Job type : Temporary | Full-time | 12-month Contract

  • Responsibilities :

  • Maintain focus on safety in all TPM initiatives
  • Use TPM methodologies to continue the journey to zero incidents
  • Adhere to and continuously improve all safety policies, procedures, and standards
  • Support and participate in wellness and community initiatives
  • Demonstrate strategic leadership by working with the Plant NLT to develop a TPM masterplan for the site that is linked to overall plant objectives of loss elimination.
  • Coordinate with other functional areas to ensure accomplishment of overall TPM and plant objectives as needed.
  • Build support and shared accountability for successful deployment of TPM
  • Partner with internal and external consultants to effectively support and implement TPM
  • Member of the Plant NLT and TPM coach / mentor to the Plant Manager and Operations Manager
  • Supports the Plant TPM Leader (where available) in the TPM execution
  • Serve as mentor / coach to develop excellence in the use of TPM methodologies
  • Build TPM capability in the Site through the Learn Do Teach model
  • Develop and deliver training as needed to build TPM knowledge, awareness, and capability across the plant
  • Anticipate and eliminate barriers to success
  • Identify, track, and communicate the metrics that measure TPM progress
  • Provide recognition for successes around sustained TPM systems and TPM capabilities built
  • Leads the weekly TPM drumbeat in the Plant, Coaches the daily TPM drumbeat in the plant
  • Lead Focused Improvement / LSS efforts and provide guidance to TPM managers and / or other pillar leaders focusing on process capability, throughput, loss and KPI improvements. Drive team based and data driven culture
  • Qualifications and Skills :

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Management is required
  • 3 years of Manufacturing experiences is required
  • 1 year of reverent TPM experience is preferred
  • PMP Certification will be an asset
  • Must have thorough knowledge of processing and manufacturing equipment to effectively lead technical resources to successfully maintain production line equipment to achieve high levels of productivity.
  • Must possess strong financial control skills to support plant efforts in successful cost and capital planning performance.
  • Self starter with ability to develop strategies in line with an overall business vision.
  • Strong leadership skills with the proven ability to set a vision, manage change, develop personnel and strategically plan for continuous improvement.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization and have the ability to influence others across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Technical understanding of continuous manufacturing process and compliance requirements preferred
  • Prior experience with TPM deployment and leadership of AM, PM, FI and T&D Pillars internal or external to Owens Corning
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change to deliver results
  • Functional leadership in a complex environment
  • Understand and apply financial drivers and Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
  • Ability to work off shifts occasionally
  • Ability to travel is required (10-20%)
