As a Business Development Representative, you will :

  • Build relationships with new clients and grow business with current ones, focusing on construction equipment rentals and sales.
  • Negotiate rental and sales agreements, including pricing and terms.
  • Support the estimating team with client proposals, pre‑qualifications, and RFPs.
  • Help prepare accurate quotes, pricing strategies, and job forecasts.
  • Keep track of sales activity, opportunities, and trends to help us stay competitive.
  • Understand client needs and challenges to recommend practical, cost‑effective solutions using Oxford’s equipment and services.

Is this role right for you?

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with potential customers and build relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage and prioritize multiple leads and opportunities effectively.
  • Familiarity with construction equipment, including current technology, tools, methods, and standard jobsite procedures, is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of self‑performed formwork projects, including planning, scheduling, productivity management, and quality control, is an asset.
  • Basic understanding of union rules and labor agreements.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation capabilities.
