Quality Engineer Day Shift – 8AM-5PM (M-F)

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Engineer on Day Shift based in Waterloo, Ontario (UMW).

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure customer satisfaction regarding quality items and address quality issues during pre- and post-launch, including reviewing ECNs.
• Support and participate in the APQP process, activities, and trials to ensure design and process feasibility.
• Prepare PPAPs, determine customer requirements, and communicate standards within the organization.
• Coordinate and participate in dimensional evaluations and SPC studies, ensuring proper calibration of equipment.
• Participate in Gauge Accuracy, R&R studies, and perform process capability and performance studies, reporting results statistically.
• Train operators and cell leaders in in-process inspections and participate in their training.
• Monitor process and product quality performance according to standards and procedures.
• Complete all PSO functions on assigned programs.
• Analyze, document, and respond to customer warranty issues.
