We currently have a long termrenewable contract as a Senior PHP Developer with our webdevelopment and new media marketing client that primarily supportsNorth American clients on various website and backendinfrastructure services. This role is only availble to candidateswho are within 3 hours of EST time zone.

Total Hours Approved PerRole : 40h / week

Rate : $39 / hr (approx $6240CDN / month $4500 USD / month)

Aboutique web development and new media marketing company seekingtalented Senior PHPDevelopers .

The core product is a memberdriven application thatinteracts internally with a multitude of systems and processes aswell as externally with affiliate applications and reportingframeworks. Payment processing and email campaign play a large rolein the ongoing objective to obtain new users and grow theplatform.

Were looking forcandidates who are interested in working on a live application withreal users who want to contribute to the technical requirements ofthe application and the business someone who is not shy ofinnovation when it comes to solving technical hurdles.

The Ideal CandidateWill :

  • Have strongknowledge of the PHP language and have experience with frameworkslike Laravel Symfony or similar.
  • Experienceimplementing and using RESTful APIs in a microservicearchitecture
  • Have usable understanding offrontend technologies.
  • Understand the conceptsof object oriented programming.
  • Havefamiliarity with optimizing interactions with backend storage suchas MySQL.
  • Have experience developing in alargelydistributed environment.
  • Have priorexperience working with the design and integration of onlinepayment gateways such as PayPal. Stripe PayU Square Visa orothers
  • Be eager to make an impact on theorganization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop debug and maintainwebsite applications using our inhouse methodologies and processflows.
  • Solve complex as well as basictechnology issues as they arise.
  • Timelycommunication of issues and status information to Team Leadsconcerning system developmentactivities.
  • Provide architectural input formodifications to existing systems as well as creating new systemsfrom the ground up.
  • Working closely with theproject manager and senior staff to ensure stated businessobjectives are met.
  • Other duties as may beassigned by management.
