Job descriptionTerms of employment : Full-time, Permanent Wage : $20.00~$24.00 / hour (depending on experience) Working Hours : 30-40 hours / week Number of Positions : 4 Work Location : 13639 104 Avenue, Surrey, BC V3T 1W3 4% vacation pay Health Care Plan Plan activities by sharing stories, teaching songs, and organizing craft sessions Plan and organize activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hours Guide and help children in establishing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits Detect the signs of potential learning or behavioural problems of children, and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors Offer children various opportunities to express their creativity through a range of enjoyable and diverse activities Supervise and propose activities of other early childhood educators and early childhood educator assistants Create and implement child-care programs that help and encourage the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children Participate in staff meetings to discuss the progress and challenges related to children’s development Maintain a safe environment that prioritizes the well-being and security of children Experience : Experience is an asset Education : College Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education is required Certificate : First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, and E.C.E.
