Kelly has partnered with Canada’s leading food and pharmacy company, located in Cambridge, to hire a Transportation Coordinator for a temporary 6-month opportunity, with the potential for extension.
Responsibilities :
Input and retrieve load data in appropriate systems
Review load information and identify ability to complete by reviewing fleet and carrier availability
Communicate with appropriate parties, ensuring accurate information is shared according to established protocols and systems
Track and trace cross border shipments, and ensure compliance with the designated destinations, communicating to relevant parties
Ensure issues are resolved timely, changes are updated and communicated, and provide ongoing insights and analysis
Maintain high involvement ensuring prompt receipt and delivery to and from customers
Ensure all systems, both internal and external, are updated as per established timelines
Qualifications :
Experience with fleet management and carrier coordination.
Experience tracking shipments across borders, understanding cross-border regulations and documentation requirements is an asset.
Educational background in Supply Chain Management is an asset
Experience with MS Office Suite and strong ability to learn new systems
Ability to quickly react and problem solve in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Detail oriented, with the ability to ensure accuracy
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Must be available to work Tuesday-Saturday 9 : 00am-5 : 30pm (work from home 1 day a week)
