• Your activities and responsibilities
• Design hydronic heating and related systems for commercial greenhouses;
• Communicate directly with customers to understand system requirements and generate final system design and documentation;
• Create and submit detailed bids that outline costs and timelines for projects;
• Provide technical support to the sales team or be directly involved in the sales of heating systems in greenhouse projects;
• Supervise the creation of the required drawings (Revit 3D and AutoCAD 2D) for our greenhouse installation projects, as per specifications, and prepare material lists for related systems;
• Obtain and compare quotes from suppliers, and order or supervise the ordering of the materials. Communicate with Logistics Co-Ordinator to assure materials are delivered when required;
• Communicate with engineering staff, construction supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers;
• Hire contractors and monitor their progress and quality of work performed.
• Your profile
• Mechanical Engineering degree or other Engineering degree in combination with experience in a related field and having at least 10 years of relevant experience;
• Background that includes hydronic heating system design;
• Basic knowledge of control systems;
• Works well individually and within a team;
• A creative thinker and a problem solver;
• Proficient with Microsoft Office;
• Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal) and a pleasant telephone manner.
