Product Manager

The Product Manager owns the data management products, including all aspects of market, business, and functional requirements, release plan, and customer and prospect requirement management. You will collaborate with the heads of product and development to ensure product is aligned with overall solution roadmap and platform architecture. You will oversee the entire product lifecycle from strategic planning, tactical requirement activities, to successfully tested functionality delivered to customers. Review and complete market research supplemented by direct customer feedback, customer success, and other stakeholders to balance TAM expansion, customer satisfaction, and maximized benefit vs development cost. Articulate and document the business case for new capabilities focusing on the value and profitability for the company. Define the product catalog of offerings, including pricing. This role provides you with a once-in-a career opportunity to lead and make a significant impact on a product that is positively impacting data management and frictionless commerce. The position has 3 direct reports.

What you will do :

  • Drive solution release plan, market requirements, product sales, and positioning across teams (Development, QA, and Marketing).
  • Collaborate with head of product and sales to develop and implement solution go-to-market plans, working with all departments to execute.
  • Analyze potential partner relationships for the product.
  • Liaison with support, services and customers on understanding, documenting, and communicating enhancement requests.
  • Work closely with product owners on detailed functional design and user stories.
  • Own release collateral to ensure deliverables are completed and deployed :
  • User documentation for new features
  • New interface files or changes to existing interface files
  • Development notes for customer success and support teams
  • User Guides and Online Help
  • Sales and marketing collateral
  • Updated product catalog
  • Proposed pricing and pricing guidelines
  • Present new features and releases to internal customers.
  • Discuss solution capabilities with sales prospects.
  • Present new features to customers.
  • Brief industry analysts (Forrester, Gartner, financial analysts, and others).

  • Owns the product – manages the product like a P&L, takes ownership of customer and market requirements to maximize cost-benefit. Central point of contact for product direction and release plan within the context of overall solution roadmap.

  • Analytical – ability to make data-driven recommendations, understand analysis to answer business questions and challenges.
