Job Summary:

The Sales Consultant solicits and secures new clients for linen, workwear industrial uniforms and facility services, sells and promotes approved, targeted products and services within a designated sales territory. Reports to the Regional Sales Manager and works closely with the General Manager. The assigned territory of work would cover the South Shore area including but not limited to Longueuil, Brossard, Boucherville, and Saint-Lambert, QC.

Essential Functions:

- Solicit and secure new clients, sell and promote all approved lines of service or product within a designated sales territory
- Continually meet or exceed sales quotas and expectations.
- Proactively identify, solicit and motivate targeted prospects using a variety of methods such as cold-calling, lead qualifying, presenting proposals and sales funnel management. Maintain sales records and accurately fill out new client paperwork.
- Actively participate in promotions, contests, meetings and training.
- Follow company sales policies and procedures, including price/product guidelines and new installation procedures.
- Present a professional image. Build relationships, communicate openly, educate customers, manage customer needs and proactively work with other departments to smoothly transition a new customer.
- Safely operate a vehicle on each trip, following all applicable laws and company policy. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure regular vehicle maintenance.
- Attend/work trade shows and marketing events as required.
- Monitor and report competitive activity.
- Follow written and verbal instructions. Perform other tasks as directed by supervision.

Additional Functions:

- May work with and support other sales personnel or functions as required by supervision.

Requirements Qualifications:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French, ability to comprehend and follow direction, as well as strong time management skills.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office.
- Have and maintain a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record free of chargeable accidents, speeding, safety or other violations.
- Recognize colors, sizes and types of product. Count, add and subtract accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work successfully in a team environment.

Education/Experience:

- College degree preferred or two years sales experience.

Compensation:

- $150,000 to $175,000 per year between base salary and commission pay.
- Vehicle provided to drive to and from customers.
- Cell phone, laptop, and iPad provided for every day work.

Typical Physical Activity:

- Physical Demands/Requirements consist of standing, sitting, walking, stooping, driving, grasping, moving equipment, pushing, pulling, reading, speaking, hearing, and lifting up to 30 lbs.

Typical Environmental Conditions:

- Vehicles on public roads, inside general offices, customer locations, areas of a typical industrial laundry facility, Service Center or depot.

Travel Requirements:

- Daily, driving by vehicle within a designated sales territory.

Le Conseiller des ventes de produits sollicite et obtient de nouveaux clients pour le linge, les uniformes et les services aux installations, vend et fait la promotion de produits et services approuvés et ciblés dans un territoire de vente désigné. Le territoire de travail assigné couvrirait la région de la Côte-Sud, y compris, mais sans s'y limiter, Longueuil, Brossard, Boucherville et Saint-Lambert, QC.

Fonctions principales :

– Sollicite et obtient de nouveaux clients, vend et promeut tous les produits ou services approuvés dans un territoire de vente désigné.
– Respecte ou dépasse continuellement les quotas et les attentes de vente.
– Identifie, sollicite et motive de façon proactive les clients potentiels ciblés à l’aide de diverses méthodes comme la sollicitation à froid, la qualification des clients potentiels, la présentation de propositions et la gestion de la prospection. Tient à jour les registres des ventes et remplit correctement les documents des nouveaux clients.
– Participe activement aux promotions, aux concours, aux réunions et à la formation.
– Suit les politiques et procédures de vente de l’entreprise, y compris les directives sur les prix et les produits, et les nouvelles procédures d’installation.
– Présente une image professionnelle. Établi des relations, communique ouvertement, éduque les clients, gère les besoins des clients et travaille de façon proactive avec les autres services pour assurer une transition harmonieuse pour un nouveau client.
– Conduit un véhicule de façon sécuritaire, en respectant toutes les lois et les politiques de l’entreprise applicables. Garde le véhicule propre et s’assure de l’entretien régulier de celui-ci.
– Assiste/participe aux salons professionnels et aux événements de marketing, au besoin.
– Surveille et signale les activités de la concurrence.
-Suit les instructions écrites et verbales. Effectue d’autres tâches selon les directives de la supervision.

Fonctions additionnelles :

– Peut travailler avec d’autres membres du personnel de vente de la succursale et les soutenir selon les exigences de la supervision.

Exigences et qualifications :

– Excellentes aptitudes pour la communication orale et écrite en anglais et francais, capacité à comprendre et à suivre les directives, ainsi que d’excellentes aptitudes pour la gestion du temps.
– Excellentes compétences informatiques avec Microsoft Office.
– Détient un permis de conduire valide et conserve un dossier de conduite exempt d’accidents, d’excès de vitesse, de sécurité ou d’autres infractions.
– Reconnaît les couleurs, les tailles et les types de produits. Compte, additionne et soustrait avec précision.
– Excellentes aptitudes pour les relations interpersonnelles et capacité à travailler efficacement en équipe.

Éducation/Expérience :

— Diplôme d’études collégiales privilégié ou deux ans d’expérience en vente.

Rémunération :

- Salaire annuel de 150 000 $ à 175 000 $ (salaire de base et commissions).
- Véhicule fourni pour les déplacements chez les clients.
- Téléphone portable, ordinateur portable et iPad fournis pour le travail quotidien.

Conditions environnementales typiques :

– Véhicules sur les routes publiques, à l’intérieur des bureaux, dans les locaux des clients, dans les zones d’une installation de buanderie industrielle typique, dans un centre de service ou un dépôt.

Exigences relatives aux déplacements :

— Sur une base quotidienne, conduire un véhicule dans un territoire de vente désigné.
