Our GTA based client is looking for an experienced IT Technical Consultant to lead the migration of on-premises Oracle ERP system to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Financials and Microsoft Project Operations.
The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of ERP systems, requirements gathering, solution design, and the implementation of D365 solutions. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to ensure the new ERP system meets organization’s needs and supports business objectives.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities :
1. Requirements Gathering :
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document functional and technical requirements for the migration to Microsoft Dynamics 365 and onboarding to Microsoft Project Operations.
Facilitate workshops and meetings to analyze current business processes, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
Translate business requirements into actionable specifications for the IT development team.
Capture and document nonfunctional requirements, including security, performance, and usability considerations.
2. Solution Design :
Work closely with Solution Architects to design end-to-end solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Financials and Microsoft Project Operations that align with business requirements.
Capture and document technical requirements, including system configurations, integrations, and customizations.
Ensure that proposed solutions follow industry best practices and align with organizational goals.
Provide input into the creation of a migration plan, including data migration and validation strategies.
3. Testing & Quality Assurance :
Review technical testing plans, including system integration testing, performance testing, and security testing.
Collaborate with QA teams to ensure the overall quality and reliability of the new system.
4. Post-Migration Support :
Provide technical support post-go-live to ensure the stability of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 system.
Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise after the migration.
Qualifications
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT consulting, with a focus on ERP systems such as Oracle and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Strong skills in requirements gathering, solution design, and system architecture.
Proven experience migrating ERP systems, particularly from Oracle or other ERP platforms to Microsoft Dynamics 365.
In-depth knowledge of cloud-based ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Azure and Dynamics 365.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with system configuration, customization, and integration within D365.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Understanding of financial and project management processes.
Relevant certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 are a plus.
