Glazing Technician - Service

A Brief Job Summary The position of Glazing Service Technician is responsible for on-site installation and repair of aluminum glazing systems, doors, hardware and glass units in commercial, industrial, institutional and residential settings. As a service team member, you will provide high-quality customer service to our clients throughout the HRM and NS. The candidate will perform fresh installations, preventative maintenance and emergency maintenance. Who Are We Looking For? -2+ years of experience -AAADM certification would be an asset-Strong mechanical aptitude and prior construction or maintenance experience-Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to provide solutions-Able to read basic blueprints and product / installation specifications-Able to work collaboratively with other tradespeople (in-house and in the field)-Must be capable of meeting the physical demands of this industry-Eager to be constantly improving your knowledge and skills in this industry and always willing to share that knowledge with other members of the team-Ability to complete all necessary paperwork and phone-based service application entries in a timely manner
