Associate Lawyer- Tax Associate
Job Title : Tax Associate
Our client, a leading law firm is looking for a dedicated, energetic, team-focused lawyer who is interested in joining their global team of tax lawyers.
This individual should have the following qualifications :
Requirements :
- 3-6 years of experience in Corporate Tax Law.
- Licensed to practice in BC and in good standing with the Law Society of BC.
- Willing to work in office.
- Thrive with a high billable target.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) or LLM in Tax Law.
Experienced in the following areas is preferred :
- Private Equity and funding / Investments.
- Capital Market Transactions and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A).
- Commodity Tax and Employee Tax.
- Real Estate.
- Tax Audits and disputes with tax authorities.
- Experience working with top tier companies in Canada and / or internationally within BC.
- Top tier firm experience.
