The Opportunity

RVS invites applications for the on-call, casual position of Support Substitute (Receptionist / Learning Commons Facilitator) for the 2025-2026 school year. Support substitutes are called to work on an as-needed basis, at any of our schools.

You must be available to work throughout the 2025-2026 school year, be accessible by telephone and internet, and provide your own transportation. Interviews will be held in person or via Zoom on an as-needed basis.

• Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to keep up-to-date with changing technology
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as cooperatively with a team of educational professionals
• Understanding of and commitment to supporting learning initiatives
• Ability to work with other staff members to create a positive, safe, and optimal learning environment
• Capacity to establish a rapport with students
