WHO YOU ARE :

You are an entrepreneur, with the drive to seek opportunities that will increase theatre revenues and improve the overall Guest experience. Working with the broader management team will come natural to you and overseeing the day to day theatre operations is where you can let your building management skills stand out. You know what it takes to be a budget owner, set targets and achieve results, as it relates to supplies & services, security, cleaning contracts, waste management, utilities, projection supplies, repairs & maintenance. Finding solutions and presenting recommendations to find efficiencies is something that you are comfortable with, and you know how to provide advice in various areas of expertise... and YOU love movies!

THE JOB :

• Collaborate with the Management team to effectively manage operations of the theatre (Including : labour cost, cost of sales, revenue control, speed of service, Guest satisfaction, equipment & procedure training, safety of Guests & Cast, and film & product quality)
• Manage day-to-day operations of the theatre with a focus on facilities management / supplies, services, repairs, and maintenance
• Communicate on an ongoing basis with the Management team including the General Manager and Operational leaders by attending all scheduled meetings and by use of the communication tools provided
• Greet and engage Guests and make them feel special - helping to create exceptional experiences
• Be available and visible to Cast and Guests; observe and assist with potential issues
• Provide consistent performance feedback to all levels of Cast and address performance issues in a timely manner using effective performance management tools
• Work safely and ensure all levels of Cast are made aware of and follow safe work practices
• Ownership & accountability of budgets, targets, and results
