We are currently looking for a Technical Sales Representative, Commercial Building Solutions for the Ontario Region.
Reporting to the Commercial Sales Director, the Technical Representative will be mainly responsible for promotion of all commercial and masonry products to Civil Engineers, Architects, Landscape Architects, Designers and Municipalities. An integral part of the position is building long-term relationships with civil engineers, architects and landscape architects along with providing technical assistance, presentations and seminars on existing and new products, and project tracking.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for identifying and prospecting for new relationships with civil engineers, architects and landscape architects
- Work closely with civil engineers, architects and landscape architects to gain more specifications and acceptance
- Analyze market trends and develop action plan to capitalize on shifts in market
- Responsible for maintaining effective relationships with current customers that lead to increased sales and revenue
- Utilize CRM by tracking sales calls and planning schedule
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, preferably in a discipline related to the construction industry3 to 5 years of technical sales representation experience, ideally in the building products industry and / or masonry productsKnowledge and experience with the practices of the design and engineering communityExcellent sales, communication, customer service and presentation skillsHigh sense of urgency with entrepreneurial qualitiesAbility to navigate through a Customer Relationship Management platformResult orientedMicrosoft Office knowledgeEnglish spoken and writtenValid driver licenseWHY WORK AT PERMACON
