Position Highlights
We are looking for proactive, detail-oriented individuals to join our team and provide administrative and customer service support. In this role, you will prepare, document, and photograph vehicles for sale, assist customers with retrieving personal belongings, and manage accurate records and inventory. Your knowledge of vehicle specifications, organizational skills, and dedication to safety and customer service will be essential for success in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare Salvage for Sale
Wash vehicle and perform light interior detailing as required. Remove after-market products, license plates, personal belongings, and garbage from the vehicle. Ensure all keys, fobs, or cards are secured with the vehicle. Perform engine start / run test and drive testing. Test and check condition of engines and batteries. Take photographs for use in sale listings. Catalogue vehicle specifications and damage in written and visual media to generate accurate product descriptions.
Customer Service
Assist customers in retrieving personal belongings from salvage vehicles. May be required to escort customer or unlock vehicle so they can gain access. Explain salvage and vehicle disposal policies and procedures in understandable terms.
Records
Enter and update system records and documentation related to salvage. Verify correct match of vehicle identification number to claims file information. Maintain and update salvage inventory data.
