What you can expect to do here :
Project delivery :
Act as an experienced Project Manager and deliver autonomously ESG, Nature and Climate advisory projects, with a strong focus on ESG strategy & transformation consulting projects , for public and private clients in various industries (Real estate and buildings, Mining, Financial sector, Transit, Agriculture, Manufacturing, Governments) and regions (primarily North America, potentially other regions like Europe, Africa or Oceania).
Deliver high quality, strategic and executive level analysis and deliverables (thorough knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel is required)
Provide leadership and support our team of advisors and analysts delivering ESG, Nature and Climate advisory projects
Manage project scope, budget, schedule, and quality in alignment with project requirements while also liaising with client stakeholders and WSP's technical experts
Manage multiple client projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
Work alongside others on climate change and sustainability subject matter experts at WSP in various regions to drive project execution and ensure project delivery.
Go-to-market and growth :
Under the leadership of the Senior Manager :
Contribute actively to the implementation and monitoring of the team's strategy 2025-27
Support the growth of the team and the development of new and innovative ESG strategy & transformation service offerings and revenue streams in alignment with our strategy.
Support business development activities, including contributing to proposals and developing complex and cross disciplinary scopes of work for our clients.
Building a strong internal and international WSP network, promoting our positioning, services and achievements.
Support our marketing efforts and produce high value marketing content.
What you will bring to WSP :
Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong understanding of ESG principles, issues and regulatory landscape in Canada, USA (experience with EU clients / in EU context is appreciated).
Experience in social impact strategies is greatly appreciated.
Entrepreneurial spirit, strategic thinking and strong appetite for business development, business strategy and go-to-market.
Responsible and efficient - you know how to meet deadlines, deliverables and deliver high quality work product with strong attention to detail.
Excitement and passion about ESG, Nature and Climate resilience.
Excellent communication skills - you're able to easily articulate ideas and build relationships with peers and clients through presentations and other forms of engagement.
Great team player and enjoy working as part of a multi-disciplinary and international team.
Thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment, finding solutions for our internal and external stakeholders and clients.
Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
Great capacity to learn fast and keep pace in a rapidly changing environment.
