Role Overview :
We are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Field Reviewer to join our dynamic team. This role involves monitoring and reviewing on-site construction and installation activities, ensuring that mechanical systems are implemented in accordance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct detailed reviews and inspections of on-site mechanical installations to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and standards.
- Verify contractor work for quality, safety, and adherence to mechanical codes and regulations.
- Perform routine site visits and prepare comprehensive inspection reports, highlighting findings, deviations, and corrective measures.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and contractors to address and resolve technical issues.
- Ensure proper materials and methods are utilized in all mechanical installations.
- Participate in site meetings to provide progress updates and address mechanical-related concerns.
- Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines and budgets.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.Demonstrated experience in site inspection or a similar role, preferably in ICI (Industrial, Commercial, Institutional) building projects.Strong understanding of mechanical systems, design standards, and building codes.Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and schematics accurately.Knowledge of safety regulations and quality assurance protocols.Certification in construction site safety is an asset.Experience with project management software and tools.Prior experience in mechanical systems design or installation.Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.Benefits
