Responsibilities

• Define verification requirements from HW specifications
• Understand IP requirements for share and reuse
• Functional verification test plans
• Develop verification environment and test suites at SOC and/or IP level
• Simulate use scenarios for devices in system level applications
• Implement coverage driven verification technologies

Qualifications

• MS or BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of IC or FPGA IP/VIP integration and verification experience.
• High level verification methodologies and Hardware description languages (System Verilog) experience
• Expert on IC Verification languages (System Verilog/UVM)
• Embedded processor coding experience
• The ability to analyze complex HW issues and find resolutions
• Skills to recreate issues in RTL simulation environment
• Detail analytical skills to root cause issues
• Find creative solutions to difficult problems
• Expert on Digital RTL and gate level simulation and debug tool
• Flexible to move between all IC Design/Verification activities is required

Highly desirable skills

• Experience with PCIe protocol and embedded CPU integration
• Experience in scripting in Linux environment, using TCL, PERL, etc.
• Experience of working with FW and validation teams is a plus
• Knowledge of silicon testing/qualification procedure/methodology for production is a plus
