POSITION SUMMARY
As a Business Process Manager, you will drive procurement and planning excellence by developing, implementing, and training for optimized business processes that enhance interdepartmental collaboration and ensure seamless adoption. The role fosters continuous improvement, drives efficiencies, and leverages best practices to maximize value across procurement and planning operations.
WHAT YOU WILL DO :
- Design, document, and roll out standardized procurement and planning business processes to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
- Conduct training sessions for teams and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding and adoption of new procurement and planning processes.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements through data analysis, stakeholder feedback, and benchmarking against industry standards.
- Act as a liaison between departments to align goals, eliminate silos, and streamline workflows.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Ensure existing measures are effective and remain relevant to business needs and the procurement and planning department objectives.
- Support implementing and optimizing technology and tools to automate and enhance procurement and planning processes.
- Regularly audit processes to ensure adherence to established standards, compliance with policies, and alignment with organizational goals.
- Lead change management initiatives to drive the adoption of new practices and ensure minimal disruption during transitions.
- Ensure all processes comply with Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) to meet regulatory and audit requirements.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights and align on process priorities.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of procurement and planning processes, audits, ICFR compliance efforts, updates, and performance metrics while providing actionable insights to leadership.
Requirements
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL :
Post secondary education Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.2+ years of experience in business analysis, process management and improvement, preferably in a supply chain or manufacturing environment.SCMA, ISM or APICS continuing education is beneficial.Experience with supply chain compliance and risk management activities.Experience leading cross-functional teams and facilitating stakeholder meetings.Strong organizational skills with a keen focus on process designStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision making.Superior communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindsetAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Travel is required for this position
