Senior Android Developer

We are looking for a passionate and talented Lead Android Developer to join our Galaxy Team at Intact. The Galaxy Team is a cross‑functional unit that collaborates with various product teams, playing a central role in coordinating and implementing major initiatives.

What You’ll Do Here

• Collaborate with design, product, and other development teams to define, design, and implement cross‑functional initiatives.
• Organize and participate in technical workshops with tech leaders to review enablers and identify high‑impact initiatives.
• Create and maintain templates for enablers to standardize and simplify processes.
• Clearly identify the benefits of each initiative undertaken, using surveys or specific metrics such as Pull Request (PR) processing time.
• Track and analyze other performance indicators, like the time saved by developers each day.
• Present the team’s achievements every quarter during the Design Product Vision Presentations (DPVP) and provide updates during mobile leadership meetings.
• Work closely with product teams to ensure initiatives are well integrated and processes are seamless.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain a high level of code quality.
• Stay up‑to‑date with new Android technologies and industry trends to ensure our applications remain at the forefront of innovation.
