Your Role

As a Drafter / Detailer on our Burnaby Engineering team you will play a key role in supporting manufacturing operations by producing and modifying technical drawings and layouts. You will contribute to engineering and process improvement initiatives prepare detailed drawings and schematics based on preliminary designs and generate bills of materials (BOMs) based on marked-up documentation.

Key Responsibilities :

• Interpret rough sketches drawings and specifications to create accurate CAD models.
• Modify layouts material lists and detailed drawings to reflect engineering changes.
• Ensure drawings meet standards for scale dimensional accuracy tolerances materials and specifications.
• Initiate engineering change requests as needed.
• Work independently with minimal supervision; seek guidance for new or complex tasks.
• Support and comply with company-wide EHS (Environment Health & Safety) policies.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Type : Full-time Permanent

Pay : $29.15-$32.38 per hour

Expected hours : 40 per week
