Financial Analyst
WHAT WILL BE YOUR NEW ROLE
Completing the month-end and quarter-end close processes analyzing results; preparing journal entries, carrying out detailed reconciliations;
and various reporting deliverables for the corporate team.
- Work in conjunction with the leaders within the corporate organization to identify, measure and deliver upon key performance objectives.
- Identify financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
- Improve financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending improvements.
- Analyze past and current financial performance data.
Prepares reports and projections based on analyses.
- Provide in-depth financial and business trends analysis and insights.
- Assisting with special ad hoc projects that impact various stakeholders within the organization. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Solid accounting background, understanding of IFRS and experience in financial analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen ability to convert data into actionable insights.
- Dynamic personality with the ability to manage multiple initiatives at once.
- A solution focused mindset that is unafraid to challenge the status quo.
- Effective communication skills (both verbal and written) and comfortable engaging with various stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and computer skills (preferably Microsoft Office tools).

- Familiarity with IFRS reporting framework.
- Positive attitude and a passion for continuous learning.
