Overview
Join the Cowichan Valley Regional District as a Casual Food & Beverage II at the Kerry Park Recreation Centre. This role supports the Community Services Department by delivering professional customer service, cooking and bartending, cashiering, dishwashing, and bussing for the Social Lounge, concessions, and event catering operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide welcoming, professional customer service to patrons.
- Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Operate the cashier and handle transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing and bussing stations.
- Assist with event catering duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Secondary school graduation or equivalent education, training, and experience.Mixology / bartending experience and short‑order or banquet cooking experience.Line cooking experience is an asset.Food Safe Level I Certificate.Serving It Right Certificate.First Aid Level I with CPR.Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License (employer would provide a vehicle).Benefits
Non‑union casual wage range : $21.03 – $22.24 per hour (2025 rates) plus 17.2% pay in lieu of vacation, benefits and statutory holidays.Application Process
